$2,017,000 – Slip and Fall – Traumatic Brain Injury

Plaintiff, who was 41-years-old at the time of the accident, was severely injured when he was caused to slip and fall on water that had leaked onto a set of stairs causing plaintiff to fall. As a result of the fall, plaintiff sustained a skull fracture as well as a traumatic brain injury. The building owner argued that plaintiff was intoxicated at the time of the accident and the injuries were inconsistent with plaintiff’s description of the accident. HKD attorney Jordan Hecht resolved the case for $2,017,000.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
