Plaintiff, 57 years old on the date of the accident, was operating a motor vehicle when a freightliner truck changed lanes, causing a collision. Defendant trucking company claimed that plaintiff failed to observe the truck changing lanes before the accident and struck the rear of the truck.
Following a course of physical therapy and pain management, the plaintiff underwent surgery on his cervical spine. Defendant claimed plaintiff’s injuries were degenerative in nature and unrelated to the motor vehicle collision.
