$2,000,000 – Rear End Collision – Spinal Injuries

Plaintiff, who was previously injured in a work-related accident, was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was struck in the rear by a car owned by the City of New York. HKD successfully obtained summary judgment against the City of New York and the case went forward solely on the issue of damages. As a result of the accident, plaintiff underwent a lumbar laminectomy and annular repair. HKD attorney Jordan Hecht resolved the case for $2,000,000.
