$1,850,000 – Union Pipe Fitter – Teamster – Construction Accident – Neck and Back Injuries

Plaintiff, a 42-year-old sprinkler installer, was injured when he was caused to fall from an unsecured A-frame ladder. Plaintiff reported the accident to his foreman immediately after the accident. Defendants argued that plaintiff told the office manager that he was using the A-ladder in a closed position at the time of the accident.

Hecht Kleeger & Damashek, P.C., tracked down an eye-witness to the accident, who confirmed the plaintiff’s account. Plaintiff underwent a cervical fusion surgery and was unable to return to work. The case proceeded to trial and was resolved by Hecht Kleeger & Damashek, P.C., partner, Jordan Hecht, during jury selection for $1,850,000.00 out of a possible $2,000,000.00 in available coverage.
