Plaintiff, a Bronx autobody repair worker, was injured when the roof of his garage collapsed. Plaintiff injured his lower back, neck and knee. Plaintiff was taken by ambulance to the emergency room and thereafter began treating for his injuries. Plaintiff ultimately had surgery on for herniated discs in his lower back as well as arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus in his left knee. The case settled for $1,700,000.00 on the day before jury selection was set to begin.
