A 41-year-old was injured when she slipped and fell on loose tiles in her apartment. Due to the thorough investigation conducted by HKD, documents were obtained from the Housing Court showing that the plaintiff had complained about the floors and the defendants were ordered to fix them. The plaintiff underwent two arthroscopic surgeries on her knee and ankle as well as multiple injections for pain. The case was settled at mediation by Jordan Hecht for $1,750,000.00
