Seek Justice & Compensation
Dr. Babak Hajhosseini, a 42-year-old physician-scientist specializing in wound healing, has been charged with multiple felony counts, including sexual assault of an unconscious person. He was arrested on November 26, 2024, after a staffer alleged that he drugged and raped her at his Los Angeles home. Investigators believe Dr. Hajhosseini used job recruitment websites to lure victims with promises of high-paying opportunities, allegedly pressuring them to work overtime at his residence, where the assaults occurred.
If convicted, he faces up to 34 years in prison. Dr. Hajhosseini denies the allegations, and his attorneys claim there is evidence supporting his innocence. The Los Angeles Police Department has encouraged any victims or those with information to come forward.
Accused Beverly Hills Doctor Also Practiced in New York
As the founder of Wound and Burn Centers of America, Dr. Hajhosseini trained extensively in New York, completing fellowships and surgical training at Stony Brook Medicine, Nassau University Medical Center, and the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group. His time practicing in New York has raised concerns about additional potential victims in NY and other states.
Survivors in New York or California who Dr. Hajhosseini victimized should contact law enforcement and discuss their legal rights with an experienced attorney.

We’re known as aggressive trial attorneys and successful trial attorneys, and we go to court and we win. We started Hecht, Kleeger & Damashek back in 1999. As a boutique sized firm, we can give our clients much more attention … than other law firms can in New York City. And we’ve earned a reputation as being one of the strongest trial firms. The reason why we’ve been able to establish that reputation is because we will go to trial and a lot of firms out there will not go to trial, and they will settle for less. We focus on select clients and are able to give the client all the attention they need to help, not just with the case, but the way these cases impact their life. We wanted to make a difference in how we can help people’s lives after they’ve been catastrophically injured. The first thing they think about is, how do I take care of myself? How do I take care of my family? We want to make sure that you can focus on getting better, and let us focus on getting you the compensation you deserve. The most satisfying part of our job is once the case is over, you’re able to sit across the table from the client, go over the settlement and hand them the check, and know that you’ve made a real life difference for them.
