$750,000 – Financial Officer – Roadway Construction – Traumatic Amputation

Plaintiff, the CEO of a large financial services institution, was walking on West 32nd Street, when a New York Transit Bus drove over and unsecured roadway plate, that became dislodged crushing the plaintiff’s foot. Plaintiff sustained a partial amputation of the great toe. The plaintiff missed one month from work and made an excellent recovery. The defendants refused to settle and the case went to trial. The case was tried by Hecht Kleeger & Damashek, P.C., partner, Jordan Hecht. After a five day trial, the jury awarded a verdict in the amount of $750,000.00.
