$750,000 – Demolition Worker – Wrist Injuries

Plaintiff, an undocumented demolition worker, was injured when he fell from an unsecured A-Frame ladder. As a result, plaintiff sustained bilateral non-displaced wrist fractures. Plaintiff eventually underwent arthroscopic surgery for his wrist injuries. Plaintiff commenced an action against the building owner pursuant to Labor Law Section 240. Defendant argued plaintiff was the sole proximate cause of his accident. This case settled at mediation by Hecht Kleeger & Damashek, P.C., partner Judd Kleeger for $750,000.00.
