$3,000,000 – Union Demolition Worker – Labor Law – Elbow and Back Surgery

Plaintiff, a member of Laborers Union, Local 79, was injured during the demolition of a parking garage. Plaintiff was cutting a steel beam when the on which plaintiff was standing collapsed, causing the plaintiff to fall ten feet to the ground below. Plaintiff injured his lower back and left elbow. Plaintiff eventually underwent two elbow surgeries and back surgery. Plaintiff developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and could not return to work. The case was tried by Hecht Kleeger & Damashek, P.C., partner, Jordan Hecht. The parties agreed on a $3,000,000.00 settlement after eight days of trial.
