$2,500,000 – School Bus Accident
Plaintiff, a 29-year-old father of two, was driving his daughter to school when a school bus disregarded a stop sign and crashed into plaintiff’s car. Plaintiff was removed from the car by ambulance personnel and rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with left shoulder and back injuries. Plaintiff ultimately underwent a left shoulder arthroscopic surgery as well as a lumbar spine surgery. HKD argued that plaintiff would require future medical care and lost earnings due to his injuries. The case was resolved by HKD attorney Jordan Hecht, just prior to jury selection.
The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
