Plaintiff, a 34-year-old woman, was an operator of a motor vehicle traveling through an intersection controlled by a traffic light when she was struck by another vehicle. Plaintiff sustained a fracture to her left wrist, and injured her left knee and lower back. Plaintiff eventually underwent surgery to her back and left knee. Defendants argued plaintiff entered the intersection against a steady, red traffic light. Defendants also argued plaintiff’s injuries to her back and knee were not caused by this accident. The case settled before trial by Hecht Kleeger & Damashek, P.C., partner Judd Kleeger for $1,650,000.
The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
