Types of Knee Injuries

Blunt Knee Trauma
Aside from damage to the ligaments, tendons, and cartilage, trauma to the knee may result in:
- Bone fractures, including the kneecap;
- Tendinitis;
- Knee dislocation;
- Bursitis, which is inflammation of the tissues that surround the tendons and ligaments; and,
- Soft tissue injuries.
