$788,000 – Construction Worker – Leg Fracture with Surgery

Plaintiff, a Bronx resident, was injured when a defective saw malfunctioned striking plaintiff’s leg. As a result, plaintiff sustained a fracture of the right tibia requiring placement of metal rods, as well as severe and disfiguring scarring. Plaintiff commenced an action against the property owner alleging violations of Labor Law. Plaintiff successful defeated a motion for summary judgment and was able to obtain a settlement of $788,000.
