Plaintiff sustained fracture to her left wrist, left knee injury requiring arthroscopic surgery, and lower back injury resulting in a laminectomy several years after the accident. Defendant claimed plaintiff was talking on her cell phone at the time of the accident. Defendant claimed plaintiff’s back injury was unrelated to this accident and the surgery was unnecessary.
