$1,800,000 — Rear-End Collision

HKD partner Jordan Hecht recovered a large award for a client who sustained neck and shoulder injuries as a result of a rear-end collision. Defendants argued that there was no property damage and thus the injuries were not caused by the crash. HKD was successful in refuting those arguments and the case settled at mediation for $1,800,000.00.
